The David Raines Branch Library serves about 184,021 residents in the city of Shreveport, northwest Louisiana. The library, a member of the Shreve Memorial Library, opened its doors in December 1972 and currently occupies an 8,500-square-foot building, with a Tech center and meeting rooms. It provides books, eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, newspapers, music, movies, and TV shows for all patrons, as well as Game Nights, preschool storytime, and workout programs.
