The Great River Regional Library (GRRL) serves almost half a million residents in St. Cloud, a city in the state of Minnesota. The library maintains almost eight hundred thousand volumes and circulates four hundred thousand items per year. Founded in 1969, GRLL initially became the regional public library system for four counties, namely: Benton, Morrison, Stearns, and Wright, but later expanded to two other counties, Sherburne and Todd. In addition, with one system for all thirty-two branch libraries with service prioritizing literacy, access, and lifelong learning, they will attain their vision as The Neighborhood Gateway: Inspiring Central Minnesota to shape the future through exploration, knowledge, and connection.
