The Appleton Public Library serves about 1,400 residents in the city of Appleton in Swift County, Minnesota. The library was established in 1895 and became a part of the Pioneerland Library System in 1983, holding 500,000 books, 6,000 audiobooks, and 13,800 videos. The library offers numerous programs and services such as preschool storytime, lego club, coffee, cookies, and chat book club, five computers with free internet access, printing and copying services, and free scanning service.
