The Harahan Branch Library is a publicly funded and managed library that serves almost 9,000 residents in the city of Harahan, a suburb of New Orleans. Established in 1946 and officially opened to the public in 1949, the Jefferson Parish Library's mission is to provide the highest quality library service to our citizens and to supply the tools needed for information, enrichment, and enjoyment.
