The Astor County Library is a library branch under the Lake County Library System that serves residents in the city of Astor in Lake County, Florida. Founded in 1974, Lake County (FL) Public Library is a public library funded and managed by the public. It opened the Astor County branch in 2005 and contributes to the overall collection of the county, which includes nearly half a million book and serial volumes, nearly 9,000 eBooks, more than 32,000 audio files, and more than 52,000 video files. Additionally, it has circulated more than 1.8 million items, with registered borrowers recorded at nearly 79,000 and almost 1.8 million visits across all 15 sites.
