The Archer Branch Library serves 1,152 residents in Archer City and surrounding towns and is part of the Alachua County Library District. The Library System maintains over 952,000 volumes and circulates 2.7 million items annually. Archer Branch Library opened its doors in August 1993, and it provides Meeting and Study rooms, a Teen Room, CreateSpace, a Quiet Reading Room, WiFi, Computers, Printing/Copying services, and several library programs, including Storytime, LEGO Club, One-on-one Computer Assistance, and Homeschool Makerspace.
