The Alachua Branch of the Alachua County Library District serves 10,712 residents in the City of Alachua. The Library System maintains approximately 952,000 volumes and circulates 2.7 million items annually. Alachua Branch Library provides a Snuggle-Up Center, a Quiet Reading room, a Drive-thru Window, a Learning Center, WiFi, 24 Public Computers, four Early Learning Computers, and Printing/Copying services. In addition, it offers various library programs, including the annual African American Read-In, Book Clubs, Tabletop Games, Read with a Dog, Storytime, and Homework Help.
