The Zora Neale Hurston Branch Library serves about 47,920 residents in the City of Fort Pierce and is a part of Saint Lucie County Library. The Zora Neale Hurston Branch Library was named for the African American author, storyteller, folklorist and anthropologist, Zora Neale, and it houses books, public internet computers, printing/scanning devices, and Ade Rossman's "Zora Art Series," which is a cycle of paintings. It offers storytime, crafts, DIY activities, tech/computer assistance, virtual reality, and other programs for children and adults.
