The Washington Park Branch Library serves the residents in the Carver Shores and Metrowest areas of Orlando City and is part of the Orange County Library. The Library System maintains 1.2 million volumes and circulates over 15.1 million items annually. The Washington Shores and the former Booker T. Washington libraries were combined to become the Washington Park Branch Library, which was founded in 1924 and subsequently inaugurated in 1984. It provides books, audiobooks, music, movie, and DVD collections, public computers, WiFi, a Kid's Learning Station, a fax machine, printers, scanners, and library events like Storytime, Fiber Art Classes, and Medicare Educational classes.
