The Temple Terrace Public Library serves 26,690 residents in Temple Terrace and is a part of the Tampa-Hillsborough County Public Library. The Library System maintains 1.6 million volumes and circulates 9.7 million items, including books, movies, music, and reference materials. The Temple Terrace Branch was founded in 1959 by the Temple Terrace Women's Club and received the LSCA Technology/Automation Grant for expansion and the automation of its holdings in 1995. It is housed in a 20,000-square-foot building and has over 100,000 volumes with 52 public computers. It provides books, movies, music, eBooks, streaming movies, databases for education, homework assistance, meeting rooms, and programming for all ages.
