The Tavares Public Library serves 220,000 residents of Tavares City in Lake County, Florida. It is a part of the Lake County Library System and operates three Little Free Libraries in Aesop's Park, Ingraham Park, and Wooton Park. The Library maintains 500,000 volumes and circulates 1.3 million items annually, including regular books, videos, art prints, audiobooks, CDs, and DVDs. It offers public computers, mobile printing, and events such as book clubs, crafts, storytime, reading challenges, and tax preparation. It is open for services from Monday through Saturday and also offers homebound services.
