The Shreve Memorial Library is a publicly funded library that serves over 257,000 residents in Caddo Parish. It operates 21 locations, maintains 606,866 volumes, and circulates 1.2 million items per year. The library offers meeting and study rooms, public computers, WiFi, and a variety of events for all ages. Programs available at the library include book clubs, computer and craft classes, reading challenges (Beanstack), art club, online storytime, and summer reading programs. It also has a Mobile Makerspace, which provides several equipment for STEAM programming.
