The Port Charlotte Public Library serves 63,913 residents in the unincorporated Port Charlotte City and is part of the Charlotte County Libraries and History. Port Charlotte Public Library opened its doors in 1961 and is housed in a joint building with the Cultural Center. It provides technology facilities and services such as Chromebooks, Laptops, iPads, public computers, video editing software, WiFi, scan/copy machines, a 3D printer, and sewing machines.
