The Pine Island Public Library is an affiliate library branch of the Lee County Library System that serves residents in the city of Bokeelia, on Pine Island, in Lee County, Florida. Since 2015, when Pine Island Branch was opened, it has addressed the increasing need for library services, which are not only limited to providing reading materials but also other services including public PCs available to patrons, WiFi, scanning and printing services, and meeting rooms. As of this date, it has continued to contribute to the overall county inventory, which includes more than 1 million book and serial volumes, nearly 137,000 ebooks, more than 94,000 audio files, and more than 200,000 video files. Furthermore, it has circulated more than 6.1 million items, with registered borrowers recorded at nearly 300,000 and almost 2.8 million visits across all 15 sites.
