The Patterson Branch Library is a public library serving almost 6,000 residents in Patterson, a part of the Morgan City Micropolitan Statistical Area in St. Mary Parish, Louisiana. As an affiliate library, the Patterson Branch Library contributes to the overall collection and services of the Saint Mary Parish Library, which maintains almost 200,000 books and serial volumes, more than 6,000 audio and more than 16,000 video collections, and circulates more than 200,000 items per year. Founded in 1988, the Patterson Branch is only one of the seven branches, plus the headquarters, with a total aggregated visitation of more than 155,000 and more than 38,000 registered borrowers.
