The Outreach Branch Library, a publicly funded and managed library, serves more than 1,000 residents in the city of Mansura, in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana. It is an affiliate branch of the Avoyelles Parish Library, which was founded in 1949. The Outreach Branch contributes to the overall collection and services of the county library system, which includes over 80,000 books and serial volumes, more than 2,000 audio files, and more than 2,000 video files. The parish library system as a whole circulates more than 36,000 items annually, has more than 13,000 registered borrowers, and more than 21,000 visitors.
