The Okaloosa County Public Library Cooperative serves 187,280 residents in the city of Niceville. The system includes six library locations in Crestview, Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Mary Esther, Niceville and Valparaiso. Approximately 271,250 volumes are available in the library's collections, with an annual circulation of roughly 699,530 items. Some services and programs available to the public include computers, wireless internet access, meeting rooms, study spaces, tech classes, STEM activities, Tai Chi for seniors, Storytime, Summer Reading, Craft, Book Club, Youth Chess, and ESOL Classes.
