The North Orange Branch Library is part of the Orange County Library System, serving 55,496 residents in Apopka, Plymouth, Zellwood, Tangerine, and neighboring communities. The Library System maintains 1.2 million volumes and circulates over 15.1 million items annually. North Orange Branch Library started as a Bookmobile Library in 1950 and became a Branch Library in 1964. It is housed in a 12,000-square-foot building opened in 1989. It offers collections of books, audiobooks, music, and informational and entertainment videos and DVDs. It also provides Public computers with Internet access and word processing software, a Meeting room, a Language Learning Lab, WiFi, Printers, Scanners, Storytime programs, and other numerous library events.
