The Melrose Public Library serves residents in the city of Melrose, a community in Alachua, Bradford, Clay, and Putnam counties in Florida. It is public-funded and governed by the 1930-founded Putnam County Library System (PCLS). The Melrose Public Library branch adds to the county's overall collection, which totals more than 120,000 books. More than 43,000 registered borrowers, more than 110,000 visitors, and approximately 113,000 goods circulated throughout all sites have also been recorded.
