The Means Memorial Branch Library serves the residents who live in the village of Ida, Caddo Parish. The library is one of the first rural part-time branches of the Shreve Memorial Library established in August 1930, and it currently provides services on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The library system holds about 606,866 volumes and circulates more than 1.2 million items annually, including books, audiobooks, music, and movies for children and adults. Additionally, the Means Branch provides events such as Book puzzles and fitness-related programs.
