The LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library serves 277,670 residents in the city of Tallahassee, maintaining 608,500 volumes in collections and circulating 1.9 million items per year. It opened its doors in May 1955. Its digital library is always open and offers audiobooks, eBooks, eMagazines, videos, career, learning, and research resources. It has one computer with JAWS (Job Access with Speech) for the visually impaired at the main library on 200 West Park Avenue. Meeting rooms, public computers, and WiFi are available across the library's seven locations, as well as hotspots, laptops, mobile printing, printing/scanning/photocopying, and other library services.
