The Jones Creek Regional Branch Library is a publicly funded and managed library serving more than 220,000 residents of the city of Baton Rouge. It is a branch of the East Baton Rouge Parish Library (EBRPL), which houses collections of more than 140,000 books, DVDs, audiobooks, and CDs. It was established in 1990 and has since undergone growth and remodeling, taking up 37,952 square feet of space. In addition to the main library, a book selling facility, and a mobile library, there are 13 more branches that combined receive more than 2.5 million visits and have more than 300,000 registered borrowers. One of these branches is the Jones Creek Regional Branch. The branch's facilities also include a large meeting room capable of holding 300 people, which can be split into two separate rooms and two kitchenettes. There are also distinct areas for kids and teenagers, as well as collaborative study spaces, a sizable gallery, a digital lab, and no-cost wireless Internet access.
