The Johnson Bayou Branch Library serves about 400 residents in the city of Cameron. The library was founded in 2003 and relocated to the new facility in 2011 after years of serving the neighborhood through bookmobile services due to hurricanes. The library, which is a division of the Cameron Parish Library, lends out a variety of materials, including audiobooks, ebooks, and Tumblebooks for kids that cover a range of topics, including genealogy.
