The City of Hialeah's John F. Kennedy Memorial Library serves about 238,940 residents in the City of Hialeah in Miami-Dade County. Opened in July 1965, the library has since expanded its collections and offerings, with the addition of a branch location known as Lua A. Curtiss Branch Library. It maintains 242,190 volumes and circulates over 68,760 items per year, including print, media, and digital collections. John F. Kennedy Memorial Library provides Chromebook lending, public computers, Wi-Fi, scanning, faxing, and various programs for all ages. It is also an official US passport application center.
