The J.L. Robertson Branch Library serves about 1,965 residents who live in Tioga, an unincorporated community in northern Rapides Parish. The library is a member of the Rapides Parish Library System, which maintains 287,960 volumes and circulates over 710,000 items, including genealogy and digital resources. The Robertson Branch opened its doors in March 1942 and currently provides several library materials in addition to a summer reading program, storytime, meeting rooms, printing, copying, and free faxing services.
