The James J. Lunsford Law Library is a part of the Tampa-Hillsborough County Public Library System that serves 387,050 residents in the City of Tampa. The library system maintains 1.6 million volumes and circulates 9.7 million items, including books, movies, music, and research/reference items. Established in 1937, the James J. Lunsford Law Library is housed in the courthouse building at the corner of Pierce and Twiggs and has collections of legal research materials. It provides Continuing Legal Education, Research Guides, Public Computers with Internet access and word-processing software, WiFi access, a copy machine, a printer, and Patron Access Westlaw.
