The Helen B. Hoffman Plantation Library serves 86,000 residents in the city of Plantation, Broward County. The library was founded in the 1950s by Mrs. Abram Hoffman and Plantation Woman's Club members, and has since expanded its space and services. It maintains a collection of 70,000 volumes, including fiction and nonfiction books, CDs, and DVDs available for checkout. The library offers public computers with internet access, exam proctoring, summer reading programs, storytimes, and other library services and events for children, teens, and adults.
