The Harrell Memorial Library serves 911 residents in the City of Bristol, Liberty County. The Library belongs to the Northwest Regional Library System, which maintains 326,311 volumes and circulates 305,025 items annually. Harrell Memorial Library opened in 1992 and was named for the philanthropist Francis Maxwell Harrell. Along with book collections, the Library provides a Meeting area, the Anna K. Taylor Inspiration Space, Sewing Machines, and Computers for public use. It also offers various events, including Storytime and LEGO Club.
