The College Hill Branch Library serves over 300,000 residents in the city of Tampa. The library is a part of Tampa-Hillsborough County Public Library, which maintains 1.6 million volumes and circulates 9.7 million items per year. The branch library first opened to the public in 1989, was renamed the C. Blythe Andrews, Jr. Public Library in 2010, and is currently housed in a 25,000-square-foot building with meeting spaces, assistive technology, computers, and a recording studio. In addition to library materials and services, it offers job and career resources and early literacy programs, including family storytime and baby time events.
