The Library System maintains 1.8 million volumes and circulates 9.1 million items annually. Belle Glade Branch Library serves as the central location for Western Palm Beach County's geographical library and the Glades Area Literacy Project. Housed in a 17,000-square-foot structure, it provides local history collections, self-service checkout, technology workshops, printing/scanning, fax services, WiFi, public computers, laptops for loan, and a host of other library events.
