The Twentynine Palms Branch Library is a publicly funded and managed library that serves more than 27,000 residents in the city of Twentynine Palms, in San Bernardino County, California. It is an affiliate branch of the San Bernardino County Library (SBCL), founded in 1913 thanks to the state librarian of California's efforts and the assistance of the San Bernardino County community. In 1995, in response to the growing need for library services, the Twentynine Palms Branch Library was opened, which contributes to the overall collection and services of the county library system, which includes more than 88,000 books and serial volumes, more than 3,000 e-books, more than 4,000 audio files, and more than 3,000 video files. Additionally, the 32 locations of SBCL as a whole host over 77,000 annual visitors, circulate over 57,000 items, and have over 7,000 registered borrowers.
