The Avalon Library is the first branch of the County of Los Angeles Public Library that serves 3,377 residents in Avalon City, Los Angeles. The library system maintains 5.3 million volumes and circulates 16.5 million items per year. Established in February 1914, the Avalon Branch is housed in a 1,256-square-foot building with spaces for children, one children's computer, three public computers, four laptop and hotspot kits, 10 express computers, and one early learning computer. It provides programs and services for all ages, including Creation Station, Online Homework Help, and in-person and telephone research assistance.
