The Chico Branch Library is a publicly funded and managed library serving more than 100,000 residents of the city of Chico, home to massive Bidwell Park in the northern California. As an affiliate library of the Butte County Library, Chico Branch contributes to the overall collection and services of the whole county library system, which include more than 900,000 total circulations, more than 200,000 book and serial volumes, more than 15,000 E-books, more than 10,000 audio files, and more than 13,000 video files. Founded in 1913, the county started with Butte, and now Chico is just one of the six branches. Additionally, it has more than 600,000 visits and more than 95,000 registered borrowers.
