The Balboa Branch Library serves the residents in the Balboa Peninsula area of Orange County. The library is a part of the Newport Beach Public Library, which maintains more than 242,500 volumes and circulates roughly 1.5 million items per year. It was the first municipal library founded by the Newport Beach City Council and home to the Historical Society. The branch library offers books, magazines, DVDs, computers, preschool storytime, and reading programs.
