The West Oakland Branch Library serves the residents in some parts of Oakland City, Alameda County. The library is publicly funded and contributes materials to over one million volumes and 2.6 million items circulated annually by the Oakland Public Library. The branch provides books, DVDs, CDs, magazines, graphic novels, newspapers, and small Arabic, Spanish, Chinese, and French collections, as well as computers, print, copy, scan, and fax services.
