The West Covina Library serves over 107,000 residents in the City of West Covina and is the East Regional County Library for the County of Los Angeles Public Library. The library system maintains 5.3 million volumes and circulates 16.5 million items per year. Established in 1915, the West Covina Library occupies a 42,345-square-foot building with spaces for children and teens, Chinese, Spanish, and Japanese collections, Large prints, Newspapers, seven Laptop and Hotspot Kits, and a Microfilm reader printer. It offers book drop, sidewalk holds pick up, in-person and telephone research assistance, homework help, photocopying, scanning services, and other events for all ages.
