The University Heights Branch Library is a part of the San Diego Public Library that serves 1.3 million residents in San Diego. The Library System maintains 5.2 million volumes and circulates 6.8 million items annually. One of the earliest branches of the library system, the University Heights Library was established in 1914 and opened in its current 3,749-square-foot building in 1966. It has collections of traditional resources and LGBT books and offers seven public computers, WiFi, storytimes, crafts, and other numerous events.
