The Tierrasanta Branch of San Diego Public Library serves 1.3 million residents in the City of San Diego. The Library System maintains 5.2 million volumes and circulates 6.8 million items annually. The Tierrasanta Branch Library began in 1979 and has since expanded its collections and services, opening in its current remodeled building in 1984. It holds 70,900 materials with numerous juvenile collections and provides 10 public computers, WiFi, a meeting room, and a study area. It also offers used book sales and programs like Chair Yoga and Storytime.
