The Taft Branch Library is a public library that serves more than 137,000 residents in the city of Orange, located in northern Orange County, California. It is an affiliate branch of the Orange Public Library. In 1885, the Taft Branch Library was opened in response to the escalating demand for library services. It contributes to the county library system's entire resources, which include almost 180,000 books and serial volumes, nearly 2,000 e-books, nearly 14,000 audio files, and more than 13,000 video files. Furthermore, there were more than 60,000 registered borrowers, nearly 700,000 items circulated annually, and more than 534,000 people visited the library system each year.
