The Sunland - Tujunga Branch Library is a Los Angeles County Public Library member that serves 59,000 residents in the Sunland neighborhood. The library system maintains 6.3 million volumes and circulates 15.3 million items per year. The Sunland - Tujunga Branch was established in 1914 and opened in its current location at  Foothill Boulevard in September 1995. It occupies a 10,500-square-foot building and has 75,000 books, library collections in Armenian, Spanish, and Persian languages, Book Bundles To Go, 15 Public Computers, Tech2Go Bundles, WiFi, Wireless Printing, and ZoomText resources. In addition, it offers a multi-purpose room for community meetings and events such as children's storytimes and a Guided Autobiography Workshop for seniors.
