The Soledad Branch Library serves over 24,778 residents in the City of Soledad and is one of the Monterey County Free Libraries. Opened in 1915, the library occupies a 10,000-square-foot building and maintains 13,807 items in circulation annually, including English and Spanish collections. It offers books, books on CDs, DVDs, magazines, newspapers, public computers with Internet and Microsoft Office packages, free wireless internet, as well as print, scan, copy, and fax services. The Soledad Branch also provides meeting and study rooms, a homework center, and programs for all ages.
