The Santa Cruz Public Libraries operates 10 neighborhood library locations inĀ Aptos, Boulder Creek, Branciforte, Capitola, Downtown Santa Cruz, Felton, Garfield Park, La Selva Beach, Live Oak, and Scotts Valley, and a Bookmobile. Collectively serving over 206,600 residents in the city of Santa Cruz, the library maintains 392,344 volumes and circulates approximately 2.1 million items per year. The resources include print books, audiobooks, fiction, mystery, and digital materials. It also has a seed library at the Fenton Branch where patrons can borrow and donate a variety of plant seeds. Additionally, Santa Cruz Public Libraries provides meeting rooms, computers with Internet access and Word processing software, exam proctoring, wireless printing, tax help, digital learning, technology services, and various programs for all ages.
