The Santa Catalina Branch Library serves about 135,732 residents of Pasadena City in Los Angeles County. The library is one of the earliest branches of the Pasadena Public Library, founded in 1913, and now maintains a collection of about 49,000 items, including books, audiobooks, DVDs, and magazines in Spanish, Armenian, and French languages. It is housed in a 5,850-square-foot building and is currently a part of the Longfellow School Library Co-Op, providing programs for the classes, along with the Allegra and Lake Avenue preschools. The branch library offers wireless internet service, weekly storytime, and other programs and events for all ages during library hours.
