The San Pablo Library serves 31,773 residents in the City of San Pablo and is a part of the Contra Costa County Public Library. The library system maintains 1.2 million volumes and circulates 5.6 million items annually, including books, DVDs, and music. Located near the City of San Pablo City Hall at the corner of Church Street and San Pablo Avenue, the San Pablo Library occupies a 22,000-square-foot facility along with the Wildcat Community Room, two study rooms, a large children's area, a teen zone, a laptop lending station, an Assistive Technology Computer, and a cafe space. It offers storytime, an ESL conversation group, and computer help.
