The Ripon Branch Library serves about 16,270 residents in the City of Ripon and is part of the Stockton-San Joachin County Public Library. The Library System maintains 828,930 volumes and circulates roughly 1.8 million items annually. Collections of Ripon Library include books, audiobooks, music, magazines, movies, and newspapers such as Ripon Bulletin, Modesto Bee, Stockton Record, San Francisco Chronicle, and Wall Street Journal. Although it has served the community for over a century, the current Ripon Library opened in November 2006. It offers computers with Internet access and Microsoft Office, free WiFi, printing/scanning/copying/faxing, and 3D printing services. It has community meetings and study rooms where patrons can access a number of its activities. Some featured programs include Storytime, Spanish Lessons for Kids, and Lego Club.
