The Pasadena Public Library serves 139,000 residents in the city of Pasadena in Los Angeles County. It includes nine neighborhood branch libraries located throughout the County. The library maintains 729,000 volumes and circulates 1.6 million items per year, including print books, audiobooks, music, movies, periodicals, and digital collections. The library resources also include household battery/CFL bulb recycling collections and French, Armenian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, German, and Spanish language materials. Pasadena Public Library provides exhibit spaces, meeting rooms at two locations, a technology learning center for computer training and classes at La Pintoresca Branch, public computers with internet access and printing features available at all branches, wireless printing, and copying/scanning services. Patrons also have access to the seed lending library at Hill Avenue Branch as well as language arts, career & personal development programs, homeschool resources, and other library events.
