The Moreno Valley Public Library serves over 195,000 residents of Moreno Valley in Riverside County. The City Library began sole operation on July 1 1998, after separating from the Riverside County Library system in 1996. It includes the Main Library, Moreno Valley Mall Library, Iris Plaza Library, and Little Free Libraries. Approximately 388,230 items are circulated annually, with 139,000 volumes in collections, including regular books, digital collections, eBooks, and zip books. The library provides public computers, gaming stations, virtual reality, robotics kits, and a printer-photocopier station. It also offers a wide range of programs for all ages, including a robotics club, 1000 Books Before Kindergarten, and a discovery club for crafts, games, and fun activities.
