The Marina Branch Library serves 815,200 residents in San Francisco and is a part of the San Francisco Public Library. The Library System maintains over 2.7 million volumes and circulates approximately 10.6 million items annually. Opened in 1954, the Marina Branch Library offers collections of fiction and nonfiction books, magazines, newspapers, audiobooks, CDs, DVDs, reference materials, small vinyl collections, and Chinese language resources. It also provides Storytime programs, Health & Fitness activities, and other library events.
