The Luther Callaway Library serves 2,351 residents in the City of Chiefland and is a part of the Levy County Public Library. The Library System maintains 60,000 volumes and circulates 65,000 items per year. The publicly funded Luther Callaway Library is open from Monday to Saturday and provides Zentangle classes, book sales, and other library events.
