The Lakeside Library, a public-funded library governed under the Riverside County Library System (RCLS), founded in 1911 as the Riverside County Free Library, serves more than 71,000 residents in the city of Lake Elsinore, California. The library branch was opened in 2005 on the Lakeside High School grounds as the Lakeside Vick Knight Community Library, a 10,000-square-foot facility that was originally the story room venue and a conference room. Today, it has 14 public PCs that are Wi-Fi-ready and available to all patrons. Furthermore, it has grown into 35 libraries and two museums, with aggregate collections that include more than 47,000 books and serial volumes, nearly 13,000 e-books, more than 3,000 audio files, and nearly 7,000 video files. Also, the library system saw more than 83,000 visitors annually, more than 132,000 items circulated, and over 10,000 registered borrowers.
